Researchers Hope Creatures From Black Lagoon Can Help Fight Cancer



Bacteria, algae and fungi that manage to survive in toxic Montana lake left behind by a century of copper mining produce unique compounds to survive in the poisoned, acid environment. Some may inhibit cancer growth. And toxic dumps elsewhere may be incubating biomarvels of their own.
